AUTHORITIES INVESTIGATE HEAD-ON COLLISION

Authorities are investigating a two vehicle head-on collision near the Rose Boulevard and Mitt Larry Road intersection in Northport on Wednesday.

Lt. Chris Stewart with Northport Police Department says several people were injured and one was airlifted to UAB Hospital. 

There’s no word on what caused the accident. We will update the story as information becomes available.
