ASHLEY OUT AS PRESIDENT AT SHELTON STATE
Dr. Bill Ashley’s run as president of Shelton State Community College is over, the school announced in a statement. The president is being placed on administrative leave, effective March 31.
“By mutual agreement between Dr. Bill ashley and Chancellor Jimmy Baker, Dr. Ashley’s term as president of Shelton State Community College will end on march 31, 2020,” the statement read.
Bryan Helms, the vice chancellor for administrative and financial services, has been appointed as the college’s interim president.
Ashley took over as president of Shelton State in October 2017.
