ANIMAL BUTTER OPENS IN DOWNTOWN TUSCALOOSA
There’s a new restaurant in town: Animal Butter
It opened Feb. 17, near where its owners operated Epiphany Farm-to-Fork for more than a decade.
The concept is the same: Using locally sourced food and meat whenever possible. But Animal Butter diners will enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere without the white tablecloths.
“This new restaurant is much more affordable,” said co-owner Joel Fredrick.
Menu items vary from handmade tacos to Vietnamese sandwiches. Animal Butter isn’t a fast food restaurant, but has a more casual street food feel than Epiphany. Customers have responded positively since it’s opening last Friday.
Animal Butter is located at 2217 University Blvd.
