ALLEGATIONS AGAINST A TCSS EMPLOYEE

Tuscaloosa County School System Superintendent Dr. Liz Swinford held a press conference a short time ago stating that the school system is in receipt of visual and written allegations that an employee has been involved in an inappropriate relationship with a student. The Superintendent recently received numerous emails and text messages containing a link to a photo album with the pictures.

The Superintendent contacted the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Officer and will cooperate with them during this investigation.

” We take these allegations seriously and act promptly when a complaint or concern is shared with us,” Swinford stated.

The school system did not release the name of the employee or any other details at this time because it is a personnel matter.

The employee will not return to the school until the investigation is over.
