ALBERTA PARK GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY TAKES PLACE
Tuscaloosa city officials broke ground this morning on the new Alberta Park that was destroyed in the April 2011 tornado.
The 1.2 million dollar project will feature a new fountain, trees and seating areas in between The Gateway, Alberta’s Technology and Innovation Center and The Alberta School of Art’s, that was also destroyed by the tornado.
The project should be completed within the next six months.
