Alabama’s Hidden History: Rev. William McDowell

WVUA and the Murphy African-American Museum honor Rev. William McDowell.

McDowell is the pastor of Liberty Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa. He serves on the executive board of the Alabama State Missionary Baptist Convention and is the assistant director of the Westside Action Community Counsel.

He is also the chairman of the media ministry for Pastors Reaching Out in Tuscaloosa.
