Alabama’s Hidden History: Rev. Tyshawn Gardner

WVUA 23 and the Murphy African-American Museum honor Rev. Tyshawn Gardner.

Gardner serves as the senior pastor at Plum Grove Baptist Church and the vice-president for Student Affairs at Stillman College.

He is the founder and CEO of the Citizen Impacting Community Association, a non-profit dedicated to empowering intergenerational communities.

Gardner is also a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
