Alabama’s Bryce Young won the 2021 Davey O’Brien Trophy, awarded to the nation’s top quarterback, and he’s in contention for it again this season.

The Davey O’Brien Foundation released its 2022 Watch List, and Young is one of 35 quarterbacks listed.

It’s the second time Young is named on a watch list this year, as he was also listed on the Maxwell Award Watch List Monday alongside Will Anderson.

Other notable names include 2021 finalist CJ Stroud of Ohio State, who’s also on the Maxwell Award Watch List, and Tua Tagovailoa’s younger brother Taulia Tagovailoa, who plays at Maryland after transferring from Alabama.
