Alabama turns to walk-on for spark, defeats Missouri 86-76

Alabama Men’s Basketball rallied in the second half to beat Missouri 86-76 at Coleman Coliseum on Saturday, Jan. 23.
Head Coach Nate Oats put walk-on Britton Johnson in the first half of the game which sparked the Tide’s energy.
Oats discussed Johnson’s ability to play diligently and how his energy contributed to the Tide’s victory.
“The one thing you’re going to get out of B.J. is that he’s going to play hard. He’s going to do exactly what you tell him to do.” said Oats. “I put B.J. in and showed everybody there’s another level to how hard we need to play.”
Alabama now has an overall record of 13-6. The team will face Georgia on Tuesday, Jan. 25 at 5:30 p.m.
