Alabama Softball

Alabama softball finished the weekend 5-0 during the Easton Bama Bash with wins over Missouri State, Minnesota and the University of Louisiana-Monroe. The Crimson Tide improves to 15-0 on the season.

On Friday, Alabama tallied wins against Missouri State 11-1, and No. 24 Minnesota 1-0. Saturday’s scores were against Missouri State 7-5 and Minnesota 7-2.

Alabama concluded the weekend with a 5-1 win over the University of Louisiana-Monroe. On Senior Day, senior Caroline Hardy hit a two-run home run in the fifth inning to make the score 4-1. Later, she had an unearned run on a fielding error in the sixth making the score, 5-1.

The Crimson Tide returns to action against the University of Alabama-Birmingham (1-14), on Wednesday, Feb. 27. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
