Alabama Senator proposes new schooling bill

Alabama Senator Del Marsh plans to introduce a bill that will give parents more power over their children’s education.

The proposed bill is called the “Parents Choice Act” which will allow parents to access money that the state would have used to fund their child’s public school education for other types of schooling, such as private schools or home schooling.

This will be made possible through an education savings accounts.

Currently, eight states already have laws allowing these accounts.
