ALABAMA LAUNCHES WEBSITE OFFERING ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS, VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

It took 18 days to reach 1,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Alabama, and it took just five more days before that number doubled.

According to the Alabama Department of Public Health’s data map, Alabama is up to 2,369 positive cases, 314 hospitalizations, 48 confirmed deaths and 66 reported deaths.

Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey on Tuesday launched the Al Together Alabama website, offering a place with up-to-date information regarding assistance programs for workers and businesses, along with a space for people to lend a helping hand.

Any business, program or person who wants to help or needs help can register at altogetheralabama.org.
