ALABAMA GAS PRICES DROP FOR THIRD WEEK IN A ROW

Alabama gas prices have dipped 1.5 cents per gallon since last week.

Gas prices in Alabama are 6.8 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. However, this time last year was 34.3 cents higher than the state’s current average of $2.28 per gallon.

Nationally, the average stands 35 cents higher in comparison to Alabama, at $2.63 per gallon.

The national average is up 6.5 cents per gallon from a month ago, yet sits 25.1 cents lower than a year ago.

The lowest price in the state comes in at $2.01 per gallon, with the most expensive at $2.88. The cheapest gas station in the country is currently at $1.89 per gallon, 12 cents cheaper than anywhere in Alabama.
