Bama fans cheer on basketball team in Indianapolis

Alabama fans who made the trip to Indianapolis for Monday night’s National Championship Game did not forget about Alabama Basketball.

The Indiana chapter of The University of Alabama National Alumni Association set up a watch party at Indianapolis restaurant, “Howl at the Moon,” on Saturday for Crimson Tide fans to watch the basketball team’s road game at Missouri.

“It’s a great place to hang out,” Alabama fan Brent Whitten said. “You know, it’s getting to where we’re dominant in basketball (and) we’re dominant in football. We’re soon to be dominant in baseball and dominant in softball, and I can go on and on. But it’s great. As a fan base, it’s great that we’re supporting basketball because we’ve got something special going on there.”

Unfortunately, Alabama basketball lost 92-86, but the Tide fans are hoping for a different result in Monday’s National Championship.
