ALABAMA COURT UPHOLDS 2014 MURDER CONVICTION
The Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals says it’s upheld the murder conviction of a Northport man convicted of murder in August 2014.
Christopher Dewayne Patton, 32, was convicted for the July 17, 2012, murder of Kenneth McDaniel. McDaniel died after he walked outside his home to check on his air conditioner, and Patton beat him with a pipe.
Patton was sentenced to life in prison.
