Alabama baseball hosts No.14 LSU in a weekend series at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. The Crimson Tide sits at 25-17 (4-14 SEC) on the season, with a home record of 17-9.

In Alabama’s previous game, the Crimson Tide battled from behind to capture a 6-3 win over Jacksonville State. A big three-run ninth inning helped a large part to the victory. The win was the second over the Gamecocks this season.

Entering the weekend, the two teams will meet for the 373rd time in series history. The Crimson Tide holds the all-time series advantage, 202-167-3, including a 115-69 mark at home. However, the Tigers capped off the series win last May with a 7-3 win over the Crimson Tide.

Alabama’s right-handed duo senior Sam Finnerty on Friday night followed by Brock Love, a redshirt junior, for game two of the weekend on Saturday will start the series. Sunday’s starter is still to be announced.

LSU will have its pair of right-handers, first with junior Zack Hess on Friday, then Eric Walker on Saturday with Sunday’s starter to be announced.

Over the weekend, there will be several promotions featured at Thomas-Sewell Stadium. Tonight the first 500 fans will receive pennants along with a throwback Alabama T-shirt. It will also feature a firework show following the game making it the third show since 2016.

Today’s game will start at 6 p.m., Saturday’s game begins at 2 p.m. followed by Sunday’s game at 1 p.m.
