A TUSCALOOSA DOCTOR DROWNS

Investigators say on Saturday, the body of 37 year old Dr. Eric Hughes was found submerged about 4 foot of water near his boat on Laurel Drive in Northport.

According to his wife, he had cut the grass and then gone into the lake to cool off.

Authorities say there is no evidence of foul play.

Dr. Hughes was the owner of Tuscaloosa Orthodontics on Jack Warner Parkway.

The business will be open on Monday.

Workers tells WVUA 23, they will make calls and reschedule appointments.
