One of theater’s most famous plays by one of theater’s most famous playwrights is dreaming its way to Tuscaloosa this weekend. A Midsummer Night’s Dream, one of Shakespeare’s best known and beloved comedies, will be performed live March 4-6 at the Bama Theatre in Downtown Tuscaloosa.

The Actor’s Charitable Theatre promises fascinating creatures, thrilling battles and musical wonderment as the heroine and her companions travel on a journey of surprise and discovery.

Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $14 for children 12 and under, $16 for students, $18 for seniors and $20 for adults. Tickets may be purchased online through the ACT’s website.
