71-YEAR-OLD MAN ARRESTED, CHARGED WITH OBSCENE MATERIAL POSSESSION
A West Alabama man is behind bars and facing charges accusing him of possessing obscene material of a child.
William David Prince, 71, of Northport was arrested Aug. 8 by agents with the West Alabama Human Trafficking Task Force, the Joint Electronics Crime Task Force and the Alabama Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Prince is charged with 12 counts of possession of obscene matter of someone under the age of 17. He’s being held at the Tuscaloosa County Jail pending a $180,000 bond. Investigators said additional arrests and charges are expected.
