4 Men Arrested After Recent Robberies Near Alabama Campus
Four men accused of targeting victims in neighborhoods around the University of Alabama campus are facing charges this week.
Isaiah Jamal Farrow, 20, Keon Lamar Brown, 23, Jaylen Jakobie Fulghun, 22, and Deshaun Darnell Bryant, 23, were arrested on a combined total of 29 charges stemming from cases investigated by Tuscaloosa Police Other law enforcement agencies have also filed charges.
The first case was reported around midnight Nov. 29, when three suspects approached a victim in the area of the Strip and asked if he wanted to purchase marijuana. The suspects accompanied the man to a residence on Dearing Place, where they robbed four victims of items including a video game console and cash.
On Dec. 11, multiple victims reported that they were approached and robbed by four men wearing hoodies while on Seventh Street. Phones and wallets were reported stolen in this incident.
Farrow, Fulghum and Brown are all charged with four counts of first-degree robbery, one count of attempted first-degree burglary, two counts of third-degree burglary, one count of first-degree theft and one count of fourth-degree theft.
Bryant is charged with one count of first-degree robbery and one count of fourth-degree theft.
All of the suspects were arrested at different times over the last week by members of the U.S. Marshals Task Force. All four remained in custody as of Tuesday.
