3 UNITS DAMAGED IN DOWNING PLACE FIRE

Tuscaloosa Fire and Rescue says three families were displaced and three apartments were damaged in a fire at Downing Place off 37th Street East this morning.

Tuscaloosa Fire Marshal Gene Holcomb said a stove appears to be the origin of the fire, and no one was injured.

The West Alabama Red Cross has reached out to the families who were displaced.
