24-YEAR-OLD BEHIND BARS AFTER SHOOTING

A 24-year-old man is behind bars after a shooting along Highway 82 this afternoon.

It happened at a Chevron gas station located at 7022 Highway 82 East in Tuscaloosa, which is on the way to Duncanville.

Tuscaloosa County Homicide said the suspect, Kenall Foster, 24, started shooting at a 47-year-old man, who sustained a non life-threatening gunshot wound.

That’s when an armed individual inside the store pulled out a gun and began shooting at Foster.

Foster faces charges for attempted murder and shooting into an occupied vehicle. Police said Foster said he knew someone was shooting at him, but it didn’t stop him from shooting at the victim.

Police said this was a random crime, and Foster did not know the victim before the shooting.
