MOUNDVILLE MAYOR FIGHTING FOR A GROCERY STORE IN THE CITY

Moundville Mayor Tony Lester is fighting to bring a Grocery Store to the City. The Mayor says the city has already purchased 7 1/2 acres of land on Highway 69 in Moundville for potential businesses. 8 months ago, Moundville was set to be the home for a Piggly Wiggly. However, at the deal fell through.

SPECIALTY PROGRAM OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS

Tuscaloosa City Schools are accepting applications for specialty programs. Parents or guardians can apply for students to be introduced to new ways of learning, like dance and theater. Participating schools are Alberta School of Performing Arts, University Place Schools, and Tuscaloosa Magnet Schools. NEW DOMINOS PIZZA COMING TO ALBERTA

PROPOSED GROCERY STORE ON HIGHWAY 69 SOUTH AND PATRIOT PARKWAY

A proposed Grocery Store coming to Highway 69 South at Patriot Parkway could soon be the home of a brand new grocery store. Developers describe the development 42,000 square foot Grocery Store, deli, bakery, produce department and pharmacy with an exterior fuel station out front. The City Council vote make a decision later this month.

2015 TUSCALOOSA COUNTY CRIME REPORT
