A disturbing story about three pit bulls found shot and killed in Tuscaloosa County. On Wednesday, the dogs were found stacked on top of each other covered with a blue tarp. The Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office have launched an investigation.

TALKS OF A NEW TRANSPORTATION NETWORK COMING TO TUSCALOOSA

Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox says a Transportation Network is in discussion. The company will be similiar to Uber. The app would then direct the nearest Uber driver. Maddox says it will not be the same as the city’s current vehicle for hire companies in Tuscaloosa. No word yet on when the City will vote.

“PROJECT LIFESAVER” CAN HELP LOCATE DEMENTIA PATIENTS

The Perry County Sheriff’s Department  is implementing a new program in 2016 that they’re hoping could save lives. The initiative called “Project Lifesaver” is targeted toward individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s or memory loss. Those enrolled in the program will wear a transmitter bracelet that can be tracked by a receiver possessed by the sheriff’s department.
