17-YEAR-OLD KILLED IN PICKUP TRUCK WRECK

TUSCALOOSA – A Centreville teen was killed in a single vehicle wreck in Perry County early Friday morning.

According to officers with Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, 17-year-old Dylan Cole Gardner of Centreville was killed when the 2008 Chevrolet Colorado in which he was passenger left the roadway, struck a fence and overturned.

Gardner was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred on Alabama 14 about 10 miles east of Sprott.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
