UPDATE-DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIM NAME RELEASED

25 year old Juan Pasquel is the name of the victim from Sunday night’s stabbing according to law enforcement officials.

24 year old Dazray Nevels is in the Tuscaloosa County Jail this morning after she allegedly stabbed a 25 year old male last night.

The incident took place around 10:35 p.m. in the 1000 building of Forrester Gardens Apartments on James I. Harrison Pkwy. Tuscaloosa Police found the male with a stab wound to the leg. He was removed to DCH where he later died.

Investigators believe the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute between Nevels and the victim.

Nevels is being held on a $75,000 dollar bond this morning. The name of the victim is not being released at this time.
