NAACP Hosts Community Job Fair March 30th

TUSCALOOSA – If you or someone you know is looking for a job, look no further. The Tuscaloosa branch of the NAACP is hosting a community job fair.

Employers from all different sectors such as medical, automotive, manufacturing, production, law enforcement and many more are seeking employees. There will be employers looking for salary and hourly, part time and full-time employees.

President of the Tuscaloosa Branch of the NAACP Lisa Young said come dressed to impress with your resume. Some employers are looking to hire on the spot.

“With the economic climate right now, the price of gas, the price of food, a lot of people are actually looking for second jobs, so we wanted to make sure that we are addressing the concerns of the community,” Young said. “If people are saying that they need jobs, we need to fill in the gaps by bringing employers to the job applicants” said Young.

The job fair will be Wednesday March 30th, from 10 am to 2pm at the McDonald Hughes Center.  It is free for both employers and prospective employees.

For more information on the job fair head to the Tuscaloosa Branch NAACP Facebook page or email Lisa Young at tuscaloosanaacp@gmail.com.
