Children’s center intern arrested, charged with rape of teen in program

An intern at Brewer-Porch Children’s Center has been arrested and charged with rape and using her position for personal gain.

According to the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, 29-year-old Nicole Hall was arrested Jan. 28 and has since posted bond. The case was investigated by the Sexual Assault Section of the Violent Crimes Unit and was presented to a Grand Jury, which returned indictments.

The Violent Crimes Unit said the victim was a 15-year-old who was in the program at Brewer-Porch. To maintain the victim’s privacy, no other details concerning Hall’s offense will be released, VCU said.
