1 SHOT AT HAY COURT APARTMENTS THURSDAY EVENING

Tuscaloosa Police are searching for the person or people responsible for shooting a 31-year-old man in the stomach Thursday evening.

Police said it happened around 5:30 p.m. at Hay Court Apartments, 4420 21st St., around building No. 17.

The victim was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment, and his injuries do not appear to be life threatening, police said.

Witnesses told police the shooting stemmed from an argument between a family member of the victim and another group of suspects. Police said they have several potential suspects, and the investigation is ongoing.
