1 RECOVERING, 1 FACING ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGES AFTER SUNDAY NIGHT SHOOTING

One person is recovering at the hospital and another is facing attempted murder charges after a shooting Sunday night.

Tuscaloosa Police said it happened in the 3200 block of Moody Street, which is near the Shelton State Community College Fredd Campus.

A 34-year-old victim was found with a gunshot wound to the stomach, and they were taken to DCH Regional Medical Center where they remain in stable condition.

The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit determined that the shooting happened during an argument.

Chartavius Jamal Martin, 21, was arrested on an attempted murder charge and placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on a $60,000 bond.
