1 killed in two-vehicle Pickens County crash Monday

A man from Aliceville is dead in the wake of a two-vehicle crash Monday morning in Pickens County.
The crash happened around 10:10 a.m. on Alabama Highway 17 near the 197-mile marker, about 2 miles south of Carrollton.
Anthony L. Miller, 61, was fatally injured when the vehicle he was driving collided head-on with another vehicle. Miller, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Highway Patrol Division investigators are looking into the cause of the crash.
